Thailand's Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk will face Zulfadli Zulkiffli of Malaysia in the men's singles second round of the BWF World Championships in Glasgow today. Tanongsak is favourite against unseeded Zulkiffli in the second round. In the second round, the 29-year-old Son takes on Hungary's Gergely Krausz, who defeated Austria's Vilson Vattanirappel 18-21, 21-11, 21-7 on Monday night. China's Lin Dan began his quest for a sixth world title with a commanding display against Kieran Merrilees.
